| 8mm Mauser; 60% blue, fair bore, good stock, 22.25'' barrel, Manufactured in Germany circa 1920s. Small ring Mauser Kar98 action with original blue finish, mounted in a walnut stock with classic european side flats, checkered round knob grip and cheekrest. Steel buttplate border line engraved. Border line engraving on the action and trigger guard/floorplate with simple scroll and stippled oval on top of the receiver ring. Matching numbers. Ramped fixed front sight, fixed rear sight with one folding leaf. Double set triggers. .323 bore. Missing the upper sling swivel once attached to the barrel, a slip over leather keeper and sling are attached. The barrel has surface rust and spotting. The rear trigger guard screw is a replacement. Mechanically fine. The bore shows some wear and light corrosion throughout. C&R/FFL, s/n 1xx |
