| From the renouned S. D. Myres Saddlery (1920-1969) out of El Paso TX, here are two classic Tom Threepersons design handcrafted holsters. Tom Threepersons was a legendary lawman serving in San Antonio and El Paso, Texas during the early 20th Century. In about 1920 Threepersons designed a holster for his personal use, and had it made by the excellent S.D. Myres Saddlery. Threepersons design has become the basis for almost all traditional leather law enforcement and civilian mid and high rise holsters since. The left hand holster is in excellent condition, fitting 3'' barreled medium frame (K sized) revolvers. The very good right side holster fits the same size revolver, yet shows sign of slight modification to the outside top. All stiching is tight and leather supple, both. |
