| 45 ACP; 96% blue, 80% straw, excellent bore, very good grips, 5.5'' barrel, S&W D.A. 45. The top of the barrel has the two-line S&W address and patent info. The bottom of the barrel has UNITED STATES PROPERTY. The barrel is pinned. The front sight is a blade and the rear is a fixed groove. The trigger and hammer are case colored. The bottom of the grip frame is stamped US / ARMY / MODEL / 1917 and No56557 and it has a lanyard ring. The metal finish has very slight ring around the cylinder. The left side above the trigger has a very small scratch. The back of the grip frame has very mild scattered patina. The walnut grips are in very good condition, the left grip has a small nick at the bottom of the grip., s/n 194xx |
