| 16ga; 80% blue, good bore, very good+ grips, very good+ stock, 27.625'' barrel, Sauer & Sohn model 8 double barrel shotgun chambered for 16ga 2.75in shells, modified/improved modified chokes, firring pins intact, fixed with an extractor. Bores are bright but have moderate oxidation, scratches, and slight pitting. Barrel shows heavy user wear, moderate edge wear to the tip, a couple minor impressions/scratches, the top of both sides near the receiver is stamped with "Special - Gewehr Lauf - Stahl", the top of the rib near the receiver is stamped with "Vorm .J.P.Sauer & Sohn Suhl". Receiver has some very minor oxidation/patina, both sides are stamped with " J.P. Sauer & Sohn Suhl". Wrist checkered pattern grips are in very good + condition with light user wear and a few minor impressions. Stock is in very good + condition as well with several scratches and impressions. Black plastic butt plate is stamped with "SS" Sauer & Sohn proof., s/n 4137xx |
