| 12ga; 85% blue, fair bore, very good grips, very good stock, 27.5'' barrel, Sauer & Sohn model 8 double barrel shotgun chambered for 12ga 2.75in shells, firring pins are intact, both chokes are full +, fixed with an extractor. Both bores have some scratches, more on the left than right. Barrel shows heavy user wear, moderate edge wear to the tip, the top of both barrels near the receiver are stamped with "Special-Gewehr Lauf-Stahl", the top of the rib near the receiver is stamped with "Fortuna Vorm. J.P. Sauer & Sohn Suhl". Receiver has both cocking indicators intact, does have some very mild patina/oxidation, both sides are stamped with "J.P.Sauer & Sohn Suhl". Wrist checkered pattern grips are in very good condition only showing a moderate amount of user wear. Stock is in very good condition as well with moderate user wear and several small scratches and impressions, the top has been modified with a leather crest along the top spine., s/n 4124xx |
