| 12 Gauge; 78% blue, very good bore, poor stock, 28.25'' barrel, SAUER MODEL 8 SXS SHOTGUN IN 12 GAUGE WITH 2 3/4" CHAMBERS MADE IN APRIL 1959 IN FAIR CONDITION. THE BLUING ON THE BARRELS SHOWS MODERATE WEAR AND FRECKLING. THE RECEIVER RETAINS JUST REMNANTS OF ITS CASE COLORS. THE VERY GOOD BORES ARE MIRROR BRIGHT SHOWING VERY LIGHT WEAR CHOKED FULL/FULL. THE ACTION HAS A GREENER CROSSBOLT, COCKED HAMMER INDICATOR PINS, DUAL TRIGGERS WITH EXTRACTORS. THE CHECKERED WALNUT BUTTSTOCK IS POOR SHOWING HAIRLINE CRACKS ON BOTH SIDE BEHIND THE RECEIVER. THE TOE WAS DAMGAGED AND A REPLACEMENT PIECE OF WOOD FITTED. THE FINISH IS HEAVILY WORN ALONG WITH DINGS AND SCRATCHES PLUS THERE ARE TWO REINFORCING SCREWS IN THE RIGHT SIDE. THE CHECKERED FOREARM ALSO SHOWS VERY HEAVY WEAR ALONG WITH DINGS AND SCRATCHES. IMPORT MARKED. |
