| 308 Winchester; 98% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 20'' barrel, Manufactured in 1949 The front sight is a ramped beaded blade, and the rear is an elevation adjustable V notch. The left side of the barrel is stamped 308 WIN. And an insp proof. The left side of the chamber is stamped SAVAGE / MODEL 99E the S/N is on the left side of the receiver. The metal finish has lite scattered patina. The top of the receiver is drilled for scope mounts. The checkered forearm and a pommel grip buttstock are in very good condition with few handling marks. It has sling lugs. And the butt plate is in excellent condition. Very nice rifle., s/n A0354xx |
