THE BORE IS FAIR SHOWING OXIDATION PRESENT AND WORN RIFLING. THE SMOOTH WOOD GRIPS ARE GOOD BUT THE RIGHT PANEL IS CRACKED THRU FROM THE SCREW HOLE TO THE BASE. THE UNIQUED COCKING MECHANISM FUNCTIONS PROPERLY. THESE SAVAGE REVOLVERS WERE USED BY BOTH SIDES DURING OUR CIVIL WAR WITH SOME 20,000 UNITS PRODUCED., s/n 131xx |
