| 52 Caliber; 10% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 22'' barrel, SHARPS 2'ND MODEL 1859 CARBINE IN ANTIQUE VERY GOOD CONDITION. THE CARBINE IS FITTED WITH THE MAYNARD TAPE PRIMER AND THE R.S.LAWRENCE PATENTED KNIFE EDGE BREECH BLOCK INVENTED BY ROLLIN WHITE WHILE WORKING FOR LAWRENCE. . THE BLUING IS GONE WITH JUST REMNANTS REMIANING ON THE BAND AND RECEIVER. THE BORE IS BRIGHT WITH VERY GOOD RIFLING ALONG WITH SPOTS OF LIGHT OXIDATION. THE WALNUT BUTTSTOCK IS VERY GOOD AND MAY HAVE BEEN LIGHTLY CLEANED AT SOME POINT. THE FOREARM SHOWS A FEW DINGS AND HANDLING MARKS. |
