| 16 Ga/8x57JR; fair bore, fair stock, 26'' barrel, Manufactured in Germany, dated November 1925. Old refinish on the barrels, casehardened frame, mounted in checkered walnut. Fixed front and flip up rear sights. 2 9/16 inch shotgun chambers with Full chokes. Features a boxlock action with crossbolt and top mounted cocking indicators, front set double triggers, Greener style side safety, latch release forearm, semi-grip stock with cheekrest and a 13.75 inch LOP with a plastic extension and solid rubber pad fitted. The barrels have been refinished over pitting, and the finish over all has turned patina. The wood shows wear and handling with 1 inch hairline cracks on both sides behind the frame. Mechanically fine, there is slight up/down barrel play in lockup. All bores show some corrosion. C&R/FFL, s/n 288xx |
