| 12 Ga; 85% blue, excellent bore, fair stock, 28 3/8'' barrel, Manufactured in September 1962. Marked on top of both barrels "SPEZIAL-GEWEHRLAUFSTAHL" and on the top of the matted rib "SIMSON SUHL (THURINGEN)". 2 3/4 inch chambers with Full chokes. Blued barrels, casehardened frame and mounted in checkered walnut. Features a boxlock action with crossbolt and side mounted cocking indicators, extractor, double triggers, latch release forearm and a full grip stock with cheekrest, 14.75 inch LOP. The barrels show some wear and thinning finish with handling marks and some corrosion along the edges of the rib. The frame has fading case colors with some spotting. The stock has an old repaired crack on the right side of the grip, along with a bolt with ferrule run through the flats behind the frame. Mechanically fine with tight lockup. C&R/FFL, s/n 2322xx |
