| 38 Special; 95% blue, excellent bore, very good grips, 6'' barrel, Mfr. 1915-1942. Original blued finish abd checkered walnut diamond grips. Case hardened fine checkered hammer and smooth trigger. Fixed front and adjustable rear sights. S&W monogram located on the left side of the frame. Top of the barrel is marked with a two line S&W address and patent dates through Dec. 29, 1914. Matching serial numbers on the barrel and cylinder. The metal finish shows mainly only sharp edge wear. The bottom of one grip panel has been lightly marked "1925 Worthington". Mechanically fine with smooth action., s/n 4562xx |
