| 38 S&W; very good bore, very good grips, 3.25'' barrel, Manufactured c.1899. Original factory nickeled finish with checkered S&W monogram hard rubber grips. Matching serial number 5-shot cylinder. Stamped on top of the barrel rib with the S&W address and patent dates 1880, 1883, 1885, 1887, 1888, 1889 and 1890. This particular revolver does not have the caliber marking on the left side of the barrel. The nickel finish has dulled evenly with age and there are handlings scratches and marks overall. Scattered light spotting mainly on the barrel. The trigger retains generous case color. Mechanically in fine condition., s/n 1294xx |
