| 45 ACP; 98% blue, excellent bore, excellent grips, 6.5'' barrel, Serial #S80417, .45 ACP/.45 Auto Rim, 6 1/2" pinned barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome revolver that has matching numbers on the frame, barrel, cylinder, yoke, and extractor. The metal retains 98-99% of the original blue. The hammer and trigger are case colored. The cylinder ring is very slight. The lock up is excellent. The checkered walnut grips are original and numbered to the gun on the interior. The grips rate excellent condition. This is an excellent example of a post-war N-frame S&W target gun overall. It comes with a light brown leather holster, that is in excellent condition, it is inscribed SMITH & WESSON / 6 ½ BbL 1950 Model Target Heavy Frame / GBM / 1951, s/n S804xx |
