| Description: |
| This lot brings together four charming pieces of early Smith & Wesson ephemera, all tied to a single 1920s enthusiast: the factory "Catalog D-4" firearms brochure, its accompanying pink "Price List" insert, plus two additional period pamphlets—"The Revolver" newsletter (Nov. 1924) and "The Ideal Place To Learn To Shoot"—each issued by Smith & Wesson in Springfield, Mass. Rounding out the set are two typed letters from W. F. Roper at Smith & Wesson, personally signed and dated March 25, 1925 (complete with the original 4¢ stamped envelope). All four booklets show only light edge wear and age toning consistent with gentle use, and the letters remain crisp with their original folds. Together they offer a delightful snapshot of how Smith & Wesson communicated with its customers nearly a century ago—a must-have archive for any serious collector of vintage small-arms literature. Sales final, no refunds. |
