| 38 S&W Special; like new bore, excellent grips, 2'' barrel, Chief's Special model 60 manufactured in 1968. In the original two piece cardboard box with metal corners in very good condition, full end label. Wax paper, instruction manual and cleaning rod and bore brush. Bright stainless steel with satin trigger and hammer. Pinned barrel. Checkered walnut grips. Fixed sights. 5-shot cylinder. Previously owned, appears used very little. Included with this revolver is an original 2 page Factory letter dated 2011. The letter gives generous information and history on this and previous models. Interestingly at the end of the letter it states that this revolver was listed in factory records as satin finished, however goes on to say "but with Smith & Wesson nothing is cut and dry"., s/n 6229xx |
