| 38 S&W; excellent bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, THIS SMITH & WESSON 5 SCREW K FRAME WAS MODIFIED BY ADDING A LATER MODEL 13 HEAVY BARREL THEN CHROME PLATING THE REVOLVER. THE HEAVY CHROME PLATING IS INTACT. THE BARREL APPEARS TO BE NICKLE PLATED WITH A MIRROR BRIGHT BORE WITH EXCELLENT RIFLING. THE GRIP FRAME WITH THE GRIPS REMOVED IS HEAVILY PITTED UNDER THE CHROME PLATING. THE MAGNA SERVICE GRIPS ARE UNNUMBERED AND IN GOOD CONDITION. THE ACTION FUNCTIONS PROPERLY BUT THE CYLINDER HAS A LOT OF PLAY WHEN LOCKED., s/n 2475xx |
