| 22 Short; 50% blue, good bore, good grips, 3.25'' barrel, c.1868-1881. Original blued finish, birdshead frame with rosewod grips. 7-shot fluted cylinder. Majority of finish loss is on the barrel and rear grip strap. Some pitting around the end of the barrel. Single line S&W address and patent dates stamped on top of the barrel rib. Barrel hinge in good condition, no damage, though there is play in the barrel when locked. Action functions well. Antique., s/n 255xx |
