| 22 Short; good bore, very good grips, 3.25'' barrel, Manufactured 1860-1868. Barrel gray, stamped on top with the S&W address in one line. Silver plated brass frame. Original rosewood grips. 7-shot cylinder with patent dates. With factory letter. The letter states the pistol was shipped March 11, 1864 to J.W. Storrs of New York, and that the original finish was blued barrel, plated frame, rosewood grips, one of 100 guns in the shipment. Mechanically fine with tight barrel latch and no repair to the hinge. There is a small area of spotting on the left side of the barrel at the muzzle. Antique, s/n 435xx |
