| 45 S&W; 80% blue, good bore, good grips, 7'' barrel, SMITH & WESSON 2'ND MODEL SCHOFIELD US MARKED AND MANUFACTURED CIRCA 1876-1877 IN ANTIQUE FINE CONDITION. THE REVOLVER RETAINS APPROX 80% OF ITS FINISH WHICH HAS TURNED PATINA. THE RIGHT BARREL IS MARKED "SCHOFIELD'S PAT APR 22 1873". THE BORE IS SEMI BRIGHT WITH VERY GOOD DISTINCT RIFLING ALONG WITH LIGHT OXIDATION PRESENT. THE GRIPS ARE CORRECT BUT NUMBERED TO A DIFFERENT REVOLVER, THE LEFT PANEL HAS A FAINT CARTOUCHE OVER 1876. THE REAR BOTTOM GRIP STRAP IS "US" MARKED ALONG WITH THE SERIAL NUMBER. THE CYLINDER HAS A MATCHING SERIAL NUMBER WITH A "P" STAMP. WITH THE ACTION OPEN THE FRAME HAS A LETTER "W" AHEAD OF THE LOCKING BOLT. THE ACTION IS FULLY AND PROPERLY FUNCTIONAL. THE REVOLVER COMES WITH A FACTORY LETTER., s/n 36xx |
