| 38 S&W; fair bore, good grips, 3.25'' barrel, Second model, manufactured 1877-1891. 85% original factory nickel finish, fine checkered hard rubber grips with S&W monograms. 5-shot cylinder. Fixed sights. Marked on top of the barrel rib with the S&W address and patent dates 1865, 1869, 1875 and reissue 1871 in two lines. The metal has some tiny dings and scratches, lines around the cylinder and finish loss around the edge of the barrels muzzle. The action functions fine. Slight barrel play at the latch.
