| 38 Special; excellent bore, very good+ grips, 4'' barrel, U.S. Military issue, original parkerized finish and plain walnut grips. Matching serial numbers on cylinder and barrel. Matching assembly numbers on the frame and cylinder crane. Standard S&W markings on the barrel with two-line address and patent dates on top. 5 screw frame. Casehardened lanyard on grip frame butt. Military P proofs are located on the bottom of the barrel and upper rear corner of the left side of the frame. There appears to be a lightly marked previousl owners SS number on the back of the grip strap and a lightly marked "27" on the bottom edge of the right grip panel. Generous case color remains on the trigger, hammer and lanyard ring. Shows fairly light wear and handling. Mechanically in fine condition., s/n 4605xx |
