| 50 Caliber; 30% blue, very good+ stock, 26'' barrel, Very early small smooth bore long gun appears to be a transition between a flintlock and percussion ignition. Very unusual and unique action which may have used a solid cap or pellet. Large side plate covers action and is engraved with what could be an American Indian scene and motif. Somewhat crudely made, action works perfect. A very esoteric and unique early long gun that may have been made by American Indians. From the JM Davis Arms & Historical Museum. |
