| 52 cal; 80% blue, very good bore, good stock, 30'' barrel, Spencer Model 1865 rifle, .52 caliber black powder. Bore in very good condition with strong rifling and generally shiny, some light corrosion present. Bluing has mostly turned brown on the barrel and partially worn on the receiver with surface corrosion and browning overall. The stock is in good condition with scratches, scrapes, dents overall, typical usage wear. The tubular magazine is in good working order, the weapon is equipped with the Stabler cut off. Blade front sight and ladder type rear sight. Action works good. Rear sling swivel is partially broken away. Comes with an original 1st Pattern Spencer Rifle socket bayonet, with an 18" blade which is in good condition with browning and surface corrosion overall. Great condition Civil War and Indian War era Spencer rifle., s/n 86xx |
