| 45-70 GOVT; good bore, fair stock, 23'' barrel, Cutdown 1873 rifle. Metal finish worn gray. Walnut stock sanded with no remaining markings. Barrel fitted with a fixed brass blade front sight and 1873 pattern ladder rear sight. Stock has a crack on the right side behind the lockplate, tiny crack behind the upper tang and a crack on the left between the rear lockplate screw and frame. Trigger guard has been narrowed. The lock functions fine. Bore has shine and strong rifling with scattered spots of pitting. Antique., s/n 3876xx |
