| 30-40 Krag; good bore, good stock, 30'' barrel, Manufactured by Springfield Armory, clear 1899 dated inspectors cartouche on left side of stock. Original blue finish, walnut stock. M1896 rear ladder sight. Complete and original. Metal finish is thin, stock is in good condition showing some handling, the handguard has a crack from the receiver ring to the back of the rear sight base. The bore has strong rifling, showing frost in the grooves. Mechanically fine. Includes a vintage 3 piece brass cleaning rod with aluminum swiveling ball tip. C&R/FFL, s/n 1543xx |
