| 30-40 Krag; 80% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 22'' barrel, Manufactured in 1898 and features a blade front sight on a high stud and ladder rear sight graduated from 1 to 23 on the ladder and to 5 on ‘C’ marked base. Left side receiver marked, U.S. / SPRINGFIELD ARMORY and the s/n. Stock has a JSA1901 cartouche, a circled script "P" is behind the trigger guard, curve toed steel buttplate with a trapdoor compartment with 3-piece cleaning rod. The receiver has mostly grayed. The bore is bright with a light frost. It is missing the hand guard., s/n 8591xx |
