| 30-06 SPRG; 90% blue, fair bore, very good stock, 24'' barrel, Low number receiver with the original SA 3-07/A barrel. Blued finish. Mounted in a sporterized walnut C stock which has been checkered on the forend and grip. Modified walnut handguard sanded down and grooved along the top. Lower barrel band retained, slot for the retaining spring filled. Original military front sight. Rear sight has been removed from the base. Receiver has been drilled and tapped on the right side of the bridge with a Lyman 48 aperture sight installed. Missing an aperture nad the spring pointer and graduations are removed from the elevation block? Original straight handle bolt with no modifications. Stock shows some handling. The bores rifling shows some wear, with darkness in the grooves. Muzzle=.301+., s/n 821xx |
