| 45-70 Cal; 10% blue, fair bore, good stock, 22'' barrel, Marked on the side of the lock plate, Eagle "U.S./SPRINGFIELD". The breechbolt is marked "MODEL/1873". The black walnut stock has no visible markings, has several grain cracks, nicks and chips. The tip of the forend has a chip missing on the left side. Bore has corrosion but still somewhat bright. The metal is scattered patina with some scattered light pitting. The action works fine., s/n 146xx |
