| 30-40 Krag; good bore, good stock, 22'' barrel, Thin original metal finish. Walnut stock with legible 1900 date inspector cartouche and script circle P proof on the bottom of the grip. Left receiver stamped "U.S./MODEL 1899 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY" followed by the serial number. 1901 pattern rear ladder sight with humped handguard. The rear sight has no "C" stamp. Wood shows handling with a built up oil patina., Some dark spotting on the metal in areas. Couple spots of pitting on the right side of the barrel near the muzzle. The stock has a small pearl inlaid diamond added on top of the wrist. The bore has shine and strong rifling, with frost throughout., s/n 3508xx |
