| 30-40 Krag; 85% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 30'' barrel, Manufactured in 1901.The metal finish on the barrel is very good, with the barrel bands and receiver has mild high edge wear and thinning. The model “1898”, “U.S. Springfield Armory’ & the serial # 307272, is clearly stamped on the left side of the receiver. The bore is mirror bright and in very good condition. The barrel also has a muzzle cap. The wood has minor age-appropriate scratches, dings. There is a very clear stylized JSA (J. Summar Adams) inspection cartouche with a 1901 below, on the left side the stock just above the trigger assembly. The “P” Proof Mark is very clearly stamped on the bottom of the stock, just behind the trigger assembly. The right buttstock is stamped “1042” The front sight is a blade and the rear is a ladder style graduated to 2000 meters. It has a cleaning kit in buttplate. It comes with a bayonet that’ is stamped 1901 on the obverse and the reverse has US stamped on it. The grips are in good condition. The scabbard has a web belt attachment, The finish is almost completely gone, and it has a small dent on the obverse of the scabbard., s/n 3072xx |
