| 22 Short; fair bore, fair stock, 24'' barrel, Springfield manufacture "low number" receiver, SA 5-20 dated 22 caliber barrel. Parkerized finish. Nitre blued floorplate. Finger grooved walnut stock with 2 recoil lugs. Boxed J.F.C. inspector cartouche on the left side of the stock, with a stamped "2D". "22" stamped on top of the receiver bridge. 4" crack in the stock on top of the heel. Includes two original Hoffer-Thompson 22 Cal. Chamber adaptors. The bore has shine and strong rifling, however shows pitting throughout., s/n 4402xx |
