| .22LR; 99% blue, excellent bore, excellent stock, 24'' barrel, Here's a Springfield Armory M2 rifle that was manufactured for the U.S. military for training purposes. Chambered for the .22 Long Rifle, the M2 has handling characteristics similar to the Springfield 1903 service rifle. It features a 24" tapered barrel with service style front sight and factory installed Lyman receiver sight. The barrel is marked SA / FLAMING BOMB / 10-33 and is not drilled and tapped for scope blocks. The stock is of the 1922 type with finger groove forend, pistol grip butt, and a smooth trapdoor buttplate. Overall condition is excellent. The stock is in excellent condition with SA in a rectangle cartouche It has a on the left buttstock` It has an excellent brown leather sling. The front sight is a hooded post and a military style peep sight, the top of the chamber has U.S. /SPRINGFIELD/ ARMORY / CAL. 22 M2 / 3382, s/n 33xx |
