| 30-40 Krag; 90% blue, fair bore, fair stock, 24'' barrel, Old school sporter built on an 1898 Krag rifle, reblued metal, mounted in a hand cut and fitted walnut stock. Barrel cut to length and crowned, fitted with a front sight ramp having a beaded blade and a Williams type adjustable rear sight. Holes for the original rear sight base have plug screws installed. Bolt boduy has been polished and jeweled. Stock has a vintage White Line recoil pad fitted, with a horn grip cap and the military sling swivel and base attached. The stock has repairs to cracks around and along the grip. The bore is dark and a bit rough., s/n 1915xx |
