| 30-06 Springfield; good bore, good stock, 24'' barrel, SA 3-14 barrel. Low number receiver. Faded original blued finish. Walnut finger groove single lug stock with strong boxed DAL cartouche on left side. Faint circle P firing proof at the bottom of the grip. Upper bottom forend stamped with rack number "H/6/71". Small D stamp inside the cutoff recess. Walnut high hump handguard. Straight handle bolt marked "S" on the rear lug. Original G&K 1918 H.H.S. inspected M1907 leather sling in very good condition. Milled fine checkered buttplate. Vintage parts correct. Bore has shine and the rifling is strong, showing some corrosion in the grooves. Muzzle=.302. Stock shows handling, 1" hairline crack at the right side of the receiver tang., s/n 5757xx |
