| 30-40 Krag; poor bore, good stock, 30'' barrel, SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1898 KRAG RIFLE MADE IN 1900 AND LATER CONVERTED INTO INTO A PARADE RIFLE. THE SERIAL NUMBER DATES TO 1900. THE RIFLE HAS BEEN CHROME PLATED SHOWING MINOR FLAKING ALONG WITH NUMEROUS SCRATCHES. THE BORE IS HEAVILY CORRODED WITH POOR RIFLING. THE STOCK IS SOLID SHOWING LIGHT DINGS AND HANDLING MARKS.
