| 45-70 Government; fair bore, good stock, 32.5'' barrel, Mixed patina metal finish, trace blue on the barrel. Rust spotting on majority of metal. Walnut stock, no legible markings, except a rack number 46 stamped on the butt heel. The trigger guard tang is stamped "O.L.I.5". Buffington rear sight. Action functions fine. Bore is dull and rusty with strong rifling. Stock has cracks on top of the heel, at the rear of the lockplate and has a chip on the right upper edge of the forend. Original leather sling in good serviceable condition. Cleaning rod. Also includes an original M1873 bayonet with scabbard in good condition, some rust., s/n 3250xx |
