The left side of the frame is marked with a Spanish S date code, indicating the year of manufacture as 1948, and three Spanish proof marks. The right side of the frame is import-marked SPAIN IAC ALEX VA. The heel of the grip frame is marked with the model designation, SUPER, and the factory serial number, 326498. The front sight is a blade with and fixed to the slide. The rear sight is a flat-topped square notch dovetailed into the slide. The action functions correctly. The metal finish has mild muzzle and high edge wear and holster wear. The front of the grip frame has mild patina on the edge against the grip.
