| 12 Gauge; fair bore, poor stock, 20'' barrel, Manufactured c.1909. Blued finished steel barrels with 2 5/8" chambers. Barrels shortened long ago with Cylinder chokes. Case hardened frame, barrels and frame aged and worn to rust patina overall. Checkered walnut stock. The stock broken and cracked around the wrist. Worn original hard rubber buttplate. Laced on leather wrap around the wrist and forend. Stevens markings faint and mostly illegible on the left side of the frame, which is also marked with a barely visible "W.F. & Co's. Ex. 12". The right side of the butt is heavily stamped is a circular pattern "WELLS FARGO EXPRESS CO." around the number 12. Both sides of the frame appear to have brazed repairs. Numbers match. As is, not sold for actual use., s/n 185xx |
