| 22 LR; 95% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 26'' barrel, This was the standard target training rifle for the US army from late 1940s to early 1960s. The barrel is marked with a large "STEVENS" in front of the two-line address, followed by "MODEL 416" and " STEVENS circled X BARREL/CAL. 22 - LONG RIFLE" on the left at the rear. The top of the target barrel and receiver have been drilled for scope mounts (not with rifle) and is equipped with the original micrometer rear target sight, hooded front sight, detachable magazine, and mounted with a one-piece pistol grip stock.
