| 8x57mm; 85% blue, very good bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Original blued finish metal, laminated wood stock and handguard. Receiver ring stamped with the Steyr Daimler Puch manufacture code 660 and with the date 1940. WaA623 proofs located on the right side of the receiver ring. Matching serial numbers located on the left side of the receiver ring and barrel along with the eagle/swaz military acceptance marks. The complete bolt assembly is matching to the rifle. Bolt catch is matching. Rear sight assembly is matching as well. The milled solid upper band is not numbered. Lower milled barrel band is mis-matched. Trigger guard and floorplate are not numbered or proofed. The stock is not matching, stock and handguard match each other, serial numbered 4142b. The stock is stamped on the right side of the butt with a navy Eagle/M proof along with two eagle/WaA623 proofs. The top of the barrel chamber is stamped "Do 261 /38 / ERMA" along with a series of three stacked eagle/280 proofs. The stock has its share of handling dings and dents, nothing heavy. The bore is bright with strong rifling, slight darkness along the grooves., s/n 33xxk |
