| 8mm Mauser; 90% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Late war Kreigsmodel K98 rifle with original blue finish, mounted in a walnut stock and handguard. Matching bolt and rear sight assembly, no other numbered parts. Stock is not numbered. Stamped upper and lower bands held in place with wood screws. Stamped trigger guard marked "SVW", stamped floorplate marked "byf". Cupped buttplate. Reproduction leather sling attached. No provision for a cleaning rod. Original front sight hood present. Eagle/623 and WaA623 proofs. The right side of the stock butt is marked with a circled eagle/H. The wood has a light coat of varnish. No import markings. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 42xxS |
