| 8 x 50R; good bore, fair stock, 19.5'' barrel, Manufactured in Austria, proof dated 1897. No finish remains on the metal with some dark spotting. Walnut stock has a diagonal duffle cut through the forend with heavy brass plates installed to repair. British proofs under the end of the barrel. The short buttplate tang is unit marked "5FB/1206".
