| 4mm; very good bore, good stock, 24.75'' barrel, Manufactured in Germany by Carl Stiegele, Munchen circa early 1900s. Browned finish with casehardened relief engraved lock and side plates, walnut stock with single wedge forend with checkered grip and carved game scene on the left side of the butt. Double set triggers. Full octagon barrel, 6.75 inch internal barrel. The bottom of the barrel and loading rod are marked inside an oval "SYSTEM STIEGELE 377". Protected front sight with fine post. Adjustable aperture rear sight mounted on the upper tang. Thinning metal finish with dark spotting around the barrels muzzle area. The stock is over all good, having two cracks on the left side, from the upper edge to the wedge plate and upper edge to the sideplate. The bottom tip of the forend has a 1 inch crack also. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 7 |
