| 22 LR; 95% blue, excellent bore, very good grips, 6'' barrel, Manufactured in 1948. Original blued finish and checkered walnut diamond grips with S&W silver medallions. Casehardened grooved trigger and checkered hammer. 5 screw K frame. Round barrel with slight taper and narrow grooved rib, fixed front sight, micro click fully adjustable rear sight. Matching serial numbers on barrel and cylinder. 6 groove front and rear grip straps. Pinned barrel and recessed cylinder chambers. Metal finish is showing some harp edge wear, wear around the muzzle edges and thinned finish under the frame behind the trigger guard. Mechanically fine with a bright bore and smooth timed action, s/n K251xx |
