| 12mm; 90% blue, excellent bore, very good grips, 6.25'' barrel, One of about 2000 revolvers of this type purchased by Sweden from France for issue to both Army and Navy personnel, serial number range 78000-80500. This example, as many were, has been converted from pinfire to centerfire. The pistol retains generous original bright blue finish and case color on the frame, with original walnut grips. Marked on top of the barrel E. LEFAUCHEUX Brte S.G.D.A. PARIS. The right side of the frame is marked with a small pistol motif over LF, followed by the serial number. The right side of the barrel is marked with the Swedish tripple crowns. The left side of the frame is marked with the Lefaucheux company logo. The right grip panel is has unit markings L/116/No 95/No 14. The metal finish shows light edge wear and small handling marks overall. There is some finish loss to patina on top of the barrel and on the right side flat. The frame has some minor surface spotting on the sides with the grip frame worn mostly bright. Mechanically fine with a good action and cylinder indexing. The bore is clean and sharp, showing some minor frost throughout. Antique., s/n 799xx |
