| 12,7X44R; 85% blue, Good bore, good stock, 18'' barrel, Carl Gustafs manufacture, dated 1877. The numbered parts are matching, nose cap, barrel and buttplate. The metal has been wiped down with some type of bluing solution, giving the metal finish a spotty appearance. The original markings and proofs remain clear. The stock has been sanded, removing any markings. A brass disc is present in the left side of the buttstock, stamped 1753/K. The barrel is fitted with a fixed front sight and a small ladder rear sight graduated to 700 meters. The action works well. The bore has strong rifling and is dusted with surface rust. The bore should clean to better overall condition. Antique., s/n 17xx |
