| 8 X 58R; 90% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 33 1/8'' barrel, Gustafs 1870 dated frame with a Gustafs barrel having a conversion date of 1895. Blue finish, casehardened frame and mounted in birch wood. Matching serial numbers on the barrel, breechbolt, hammer, forend and buttplate. The barrel is fitted with a ramped front sight and a dovetailed single fixed leaf rear sight. The finish on the barrel shows minor wear and handling. The frame retains generous case colors. The wood has scattered minor dings and scuffs. The wrist area of the stock has been lightly sanded, removing the serial number from the left side. The disc remains on the right side of the stock. Mechanically fine, the bore is bright and sharp, being a bit dirty but should clean to excellent condition. Antique., s/n 72xx |
