| Lot includes two (2) tomahawks and one (1) belt axe. 1-quality reproduction Lewis & Clark 1805 tomahawk with browned finish head and curly maple handle, blade measures 6 3/8 inches and is stamped L&C. Handle shaft length 18.75 inches. In excellent condition showing some carry and handling wear on th handle. 2-Hand forged tomahawk of the early 1800's style, head measures 6 5/8 inches, 19.25 nch oak handle. Appears the head is a replacement to this handle, and the handle has signs of tacks being attached on one side at some point, used but in Good condition. 3- hand forged small Ft. Meigs belt axe, styled after an original axe found at the fort in Ohio after the War of 1812. Head measures 4 1/2 inches, handle 13.5 inches, in Good used condition. |
