| 577 Caliber; poor bore, good stock, 39'' barrel, ENFIELD PATTERN 1853 3 BAND MUSKET DATED 1861 CONVERTED TO A FORAGING SHOTGUN AT SOME POINT. AS SUCH THE SIGHTS WERE REMOVED, THE FORESTOCK SHORTENED AND THE RAMROD REPLACED. THE METAL PARTS ARE IN THE WHITE EXCEPT FOR THE BRASS TRIGGERGUARD AND BUTTPLATE. THE BORE IS HEAVILY CORRODED. THE STOCK HAS BEEN CLEANED AND LIGHTLY SANDED. |
